began in 1989 with a wonderful German Shepherd named Shayna. I became more interested in the breed and realized that her conformation was not ideal. She was spayed, but lived as our house pet for 13 years. My first show dog was Sel CH Balsam Biscayne V Wellspring (Cider), who went Select in 1994 under Ed Barrit - the first National I attended. I bred him to a couple of nice bitches that I had purchased, and produced CH Stonewall's Incandescence ROM and CH Stonewall's Valentino Redleaf (Rudy). Rudy received the #3 Performance Sire Award and was co-owned with my good friend LaDonna Blanchard, with whom he lived. Upon in-breeding on Cider through Valentino, I was gifted with CH Stonewall's Dallas and CH Stonewall's Cherry Cola. Cherry has produced CH Stonewall's Fast Lane and Stonewall's Cherry Cordial (just a few points shy of her Championship), and Major Reserve Winner Stonewall's Sierra Mist. Cherry's sister, Forte', gave us CH Stonewall's She's Got the Look and CH Stonewall's Some like it Hot. CH Incandescence ROM gave me three champion littermates: BIF BOM CH Stonewall's Esmeralda, CH Stonewall's Firefly and CH Stonewall's Twin Cam Traveler, and Major Reserve Winner Stonewall-Cheeryo Radiance, who is owned and loved by Wendy Luba. My daughter, Abbey, is my partner and provides all my fantastic handling and a large portion of deep laughter. She is now blessed with several great clients who entrust their four-legged friends to her. We have made many lifetime friendships and look forward to many more years in the sport and love of dogs.
Best Wishes for Love, Health, Peace and Prosperity, Lori and Abbey Hathaway
